Gabriella Benedek and Borbála Fellegi held a 30 hours training entiled „Interprofessional community work” at the Széchenyi István University of Győr. The training was organized by the Social Work faculty of the institute. The majority of the 25 students who signed up for the course were people with degrees from related areas of expertise, many amongst them leaders of various institutes. |

As part of REDICT (Resolving Disputes in twenty-first CenTury) project the Czech project leaders in cooperation with Hungarian, Slovak, Lithuanian and Italian partners agreed upon organizing four personal meetings during the project's two year lifespan starting at the fall of 2011. The reason for this was to get to know each other's cultural heritage and habits, and thus to forward the main aim of the project: broadening the knowledge of the general public and the related professions considering alternative conflict management.

On the 25th of October, 2011, starting at 5.30 pm, the Criminology Student’s Circle of the ELTE Faculty of Law held a roundtable discussion on conflicts, violence and conflict management in schools. One of Foresee’s partners, the European Institute of Reconciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (ESI) won an EU application, and with Foresee’s and other’s partnership will be carrying out its project in the framework of the Grundtvig EU-Project. Community conflict resolution in school – Foresee Research Group’s KLIMA+ (Climate Positive) programme provides a film & an adjoining educational material. The programme closed at the end of May 2011 with its deliverables helps adult & peer moderators working in the field of school conflict resolution. The two and a half month long project supported by the Hungarian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Crime Prevention Board was concluded by the cooperation of nine partner organizations. The members community developers National Development Workshop, and the brand new organization for a group of young specialists – baptized to the name of Young Developers Workshop – watched the short film as an optional program. The latest screening of the KLIMA+ film about the means of community conflict management was on the 13th of May in the school’s ceremonial hall. 13th of May was also the day of the 25th anniversary of the school’s sport faculty, but this did not hinder the session of the ninth graders. One of Foresee Research Groups colleagues, mentor of the session’s moderator couple, Benedek Gabriella was also invited. |
