Borbala Fellegi’s presentation on the victim protection conference of the Ministry of Pubilc Administration and Justice

The Ministry of Pubilc Administration and Justice - with the support of the FRA - organized an international conference on the 23-24 March 2011 in Budapest, in order to use its conclusions to help the Commission’s work in developing its package on rights, support and protection of victims of crime and violence.

The conference’s main aim was to identify the problems of the issue and inline with the Stockholm Programme to work out a long term strategy to solve them.

Borbala Fellegi, executive of the Foresee Research Group held her presentation entitled “Breaking the cycle” – Projects towards restoration, responsibility-taking and reintegration in Hungary on the second day of the conference.
 
After the conference, Hungary will prepare a Road Map in order to provide directions and guidelines for the Council, and to contribute to the development of an effective and high level victim support system on the area of EU.
