The four day-long conference was co-organized by the Criminology department of the University of Greifswald and the University of Gdansk Faculty of Law and sponsored by the European Commission. The subjects of the presentations ranged form building a social support for restorative justice through aspects of criminal politics all the way to the introduction of good practices. The conference ended with a round table discussion about trends and perspectives for restorative justice in European criminal policy.
Forsee’s executive held her presentation, "How Restorative Justice can actually be implemented into a prison in a CEE country with all its limitations and potentials" on the second day of the conference. The presentation mainly focused on the MEREPS project and its findings, but Foresee’s ALTERNATIVE and Peace-making Circle project have also been mentioned.
